In our lab, we study biodiversity and evolution.

Our primary research focuses on mollusk species diversity, especially gastropods, based on both morphological and molecular data.

We also use our empirical studies to address broader evolutionary questions, such as macroevolutionary transitions between aquatic and terrestrial habitats, and to participate in contemporary debates in systematics.

We also do research in the history and philosophy of science, especially in systematics, evolution, and biodiversity exploration.
